Belgian Prime Minister offers President Obama World Cup beer wager

Even world leaders are getting in on the action before Belgium and the United States clash in the World Cup.

Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo offered a friendly wager to U.S. President Barack Obama via Twitter (you gotta love the 21st century) last week, putting beer on the line!

Hopefully the “great Belgian beer” in question isn’t Budweiser. That would be quite the weak bet.

President Obama has yet to respond to the challenge, but there’s a pretty good chance he’ll be keeping an eye on the game. He made sure to watch the USA/Germany match from Air Force One last week:

President Obama plays soccer with Japanese robot because why not

The robot takeover is upon us. Run for your lives. IT’S HAPPENING!

Alright, alright, not exactly. Maybe robots will take over the world one day, but thankfully we’re not there yet.

We are, however, now living in an age where a robot has a better first touch than the President of the United States. Sorry, Barack, but this Japanese masterpiece has you beat:

You might want to keep your day job, Mr. President.

President Barack Obama shows off his impressive soccer moves

Juggling a global financial crisis, a possible insertion in Syria (and not to mention being a father and husband) can’t be an easy task for anyone. But juggling a soccer ball? All in a day’s work for the POTUS.

Barack Obama dropped by a high school in New York and crashed the practice of the girls and boys soccer teams. The Commander-in-Chief deftly takes a first touch for a quick juggle before greeting the entire boys team.

When’s the last time a guy in slacks and dress shoes moseyed onto a high school practice field and elicited that kind of awesome reaction? Truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment, and a reminder to youngsters to stay in school:
