2013/14 Champions League odds to win

image

With the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League in the books and Bayern Munich hoisting the trophy, it’s time to turn an eye to the 2013/14 campaign.

Many changes will be made between now and the start of the next tournament, including transfers, new coaches, and potential injuries, but the odds-on favorite to win the 2013/14 Champions League is…Bayern Munich. With an already impressive team and the addition of Mario Gotze (and possibly Lewandowski) it’s easy to see why they are held in such high regard.

2013/14 UEFA Champions League odds to win
Bayern Munich 7/2
Barcelona 4/1
Real Madrid 5/1
Man City 10/1
Man United 11/1
Chelsea 12/1
PSG 12/1
Borussia Dortmund 20/1
Juventus 20/1
AC Milan 25/1
Arsenal 25/1

Mancini takes out full-page ad to thank City fans

image

While Manchester City manager Roberto Manicini did not even make it to the end of the season, he took the high road and put out this classy ad in the Manchester Evening News.

Mancini is pictured with the 2011 FA Cup, 2012 Community Shield, and 2012 Premier League trophy, thanking the fans for three unforgettable years.

He was not a popular man among players and club officials, but fans have still held him in a high regard and he should receive plenty of support for a new position sooner than later.
