Liverpool supporters start petition for Warrior Sports to change new kits

Ever since images of Liverpool’s 2013/14 third and away kits were leaked, fans have been up in arms. LFC Supporters’ worst nightmares were realized when the club confirmed their new kits, prompting the Anfield faithful to take action.

After the kits were initially unveiled, one supporter went so far as to create an official petition on change.org for Warrior Sports to scrap the design and start over.

From the petition:

“We understand that you are trying to be ‘hip’ to break into the market, Warrior. We understand that you enjoy ‘aggressive advertising’ and looks. Unfortunately you have done it with the wrong club. Liverpool FC is a club with history and worldwide support. Please make an effort. These are an absolute embarrassment to the club, to its history, to its supporters, and to the crest.”

While production has likely already started for these kits and it may be too late to make a change, feel free to sign the petition and let your voice be heard.

Carlos Tevez set for Liverpool switch?

Bayern lines up Suarez, Robben swap deal

Want-away striker Luis Suarez looks like he could be offered a chance to end his difficult stay in England. Champions League winners Bayern Munich has shown interest in the Uruguayan and could sweeten the deal with Arjen Robben heading in the opposite direction. If Suarez no longer wants to play for Liverpool, Robben would be an excellent addition for boss Brendan Rodgers.

Liverpool new kits should already win worst of the year

Yikes. Liverpool just gave two reasons for a player not to transfer to Anfield this summer.

Images have surfaced of their away kits (above) and rumored third kits (below) for the 2013/14 season. It’s still early, and the designs are not confirmed, but these might even be worthy of making it onto the worst kits of all time list.

WINGED WONDER NAVAS CLOSING ON CITY

The big story dominating the UK media is Jose Mourinho’s admission that he will return to Chelsea next season. However, there are plenty of other interesting stories in today’s edition of Paper Chase. Real target Bale, Suarez forward line

Real Madrid are targeting the double signing of Premier League duo Gareth Bale and Luis Suarez. Liverpool forward Suarez has put on record his desire to move from the club. Tottenham winger Gareth Bale has been reluctant to speak out over his future - although his agent has stated he would listen to an offer.

Real are looking to create the first quarter-billion-pound forward line. Bale and Suarez would join Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema to form a deadly quartet.
