It wasn’t long ago that former teammates Maxi Lopez and Mauro Icardi were close friends, sharing memories and vacations together. Just seven months ago, they were pictured together on a boat, smiling and relaxing:

Since then, their relationship has turned sour, and it boiled over during Inter Milan’s 4-0 win over Sampdoria on Sunday. But what was it that caused the friends to part ways? Two words: Wanda Nara.
Lopez and Nara were married in 2008, and have since had two children together. They seemed the picture of a perfect, happy family, but soon Nara began a very public affair with Icardi:

At first, it seemed that Lopez was handling it well, telling Argentine media TyC:
“It has been a very difficult time in my life and I cried a lot, but it all passed thanks to football. It was not a normal break-up, but at the end of the day nobody died. All I want now is to spend time with my children. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll face Icardi on the field and we’ll have a good laugh about it.”
Well, that day came on Sunday, and it’s safe to say Lopez was not laughing.
Apparently Lopez was unhappy with Icardi posting images on Twitter of himself with Lopez’s two children that he had with Nara.
"I can understand that, being a public figure, he publishes photos. But I`m not comfortable with my kids being in those photos," Lopez said in comments to Sky Sports.

The snubbed handshake wasn’t where the drama ended. During Sunday’s match, Icardi scored twice, and definitely used his celebration to rub it in a little. And, there was a scuffle on the field that both players were involved in.
In the end, Icardi got the best of his former friend and teammate — leaving with both the win and the girl.

According to reports coming out of Italy, Lazio midfielder Hernanes will be on his way to Inter Milan before the end of Friday’s transfer deadline for a fee in the region of $15 million. And by the looks of it, Hernanes is crushed over the news.
While leaving from his final training session with Lazio, the Brazilian was overcome by tears as he was trying to pull out of the parking lot. A crowd of fans gathered around his car to say their good-byes, and Hernanes dutifully took several pictures before starting to break down. With a hand covering his face and tears swelling up, Hernanes even gave away his boots — his last ever as a Lazio player? — as he struggled to keep it together.
Transfer deadline day has given us some amazing moments — and, of course, classic car-window interviews — but rarely such a tearjerker! Watch the emotional video below:
Arsenal have been pulling out all the stops to sign Julian Draxler, a deal described as an “illusion” by Arsene Wenger only last week. But the Gunners’ transfer interest doesn’t stop there. Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic, whose move to Inter Milan collapsed last week, also looks as though he will be joining Schalke midfielder Draxler at the Emirates.
We’ve got a heap of other rumors too. One of the best involves a club interested in signing Manchester United winger Nani. Click here to find out which one.
Fredy Guarin’s proposed move to Juventus could be scuppered following an injury to Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick. Red Devils boss David Moyes is thought to be mulling over a swap deal for the Inter Milan star which would see Javier Hernandez heading to the San Siro.
We’ve also got the latest rumors on John Terry, Demba Ba and Liverpool’s hunt for a midfielder to replace the injured Lucas Leiva. Click here for the best of the rest.
Chelsea appear to have been big admirers of Guarin for some time and it looks like they may finally be getting their man. The Stamford Bridge outfit don’t appear to be short on midfielders but with the Colombian’s instrumental performance in the Milan derby he could’ve just won over manager Jose Mourinho.

Tottenham have had a season to forget so far. Having lavished over £100 million on fresh talent after Gareth Bale’s exit, they are languishing outside the Premier League’s top four. Sandro has been one of the bright sparks in a so far disappointing campaign.
Monday’s newspapers say the Brazilian midfielder has rejected interest from Italian clubs including Roma and giants Inter Milan.
