There are rivalries in every league across the world, but none that are quite as intense as the one between Arsenal and Tottenham.
They really, really, REALLY hate each other.
Most of the Gunner faithful wouldn’t even think of dating a Spurs supporter. But one Arsenal fan admitted to being in a relationship with a Tottenham fan. His idea of romance? Urinating on her Spurs shirt. What a gentleman. (Skip to about 1:15 in the video and see his confession.)
This may be just a hunch, but that relationship probably won’t last very long unless he buys her a new, urine-free kit.

On the field, Arsenal enjoyed lots of goals on their preseason tour through Japan, Vietnam and Indonesia. It seems like the Gunners had a “blast” off the field as well.
For one, Lukas Podolski and Per Mertesacker showed off their affinity for Japanese culture by dressing up as Samurai warriors and staging a live ‘showdown’ in front of teammates and fans. Seriously, this video might be the greatest thing to come out of Japan since the Sony Playstation:

And if that wasn’t enough, the club posted a video of “Arsenal Tour Outtakes” to their website, chronicling the shenanigans of Mertesacker, Podolski, Olivier Giroud and co.
Warning: video may or may not include footage of Giroud in his underwear:

Arsenal and Everton’s goalless draw yesterday was as fiery tempered as they come. Even Arsene Wenger and David Moyes were in bullish moods after the brusing game. Tensions nearly boiled over at half-time though.
Just as the players were entering the tunnel for the break, Everton’s Kevin Mirallas decided to really wind up Arsenal’s midfield lynchpin Jack Wilshere. With a perfectly-executed schoolyard trick, Mirallas sprayed Wilshere with his water bottle, sparking the desired reaction from England’s young star.
Fortunately, a beady-eyed cameraman managed to catch the incident, so you can just click and watch above. Enjoy!
James Milner scored this screamer of a goal for Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday, but do you know who was the last City player to score against Arsenal on their home field?
Answer: None other than USA international DaMarcus Beasley, all the way back on April 17th, 2007 — the lone City goal in the 3-1 loss to the Gunners.
