This is either the best idea or the worst. Ever.
Budweiser is trying to cash in on the World Cup with a creative gadget, a beer cup that can be converted into a vuvuzela.
This version, which they’re calling the “vuvuchela,” is meant to take over bars during the Cup.
Vuvuzelas, the South African noisemakers, blared their way into the soccer scene at the 2010 World Cup. With blasts approaching 120 db, they also made their way into soccer infamy, and were quickly banned.
It remains to be seen if they’ll dominate the stadiums in Brazil, since the local noisemaker, the caxirola (a bead filled plastic maraca-like instrument), has already been banned.
