Let’s all take a moment to remember this Landon Donovan moment

US Soccer fans, we feel your pain. USA legend Landon Donovan isn’t on Jurgen Klinsmann’s World Cup roster for Brazil this summer, and it stinks. The all-time leading goalscorer will probably never play in a USA jersey ever again, and that’s rather sad.

Feel better now? No?

Well, we tried.

Widely regarded as one of the most underrated Dutch footballers of all-time, Clarence Seedorf’s days with Real Madrid will always be remembered in a positive light, helping Los Blancos claim La Liga and Champions League crowns during his first three seasons with the club.

Many have described Arsenal’s stunning capture of Mesut Ozil as the most exciting acquisition since Dennis Bergkamp’s move to North London back in 1995. Bergkamp, of course, went on to cement himself into an Arsenal legend, scoring 120 goals in 11 seasons with the Gunners.

The most famous of his goals? This one against Newcastle in 2002, which is consistently named among the best goals in soccer history. Clearly, these were not the days of HDTV, but you can enjoy this throwback nonetheless:
