Super-soaker indeed. Liverpool’s directors and fans got a cold shower during their 1-1 draw with Newcastle as a broken sprinkler decided to go off. At least they got to see Luis Suarez save the day in the second half. No word on whether or not Anfield’s tea ladies gave everyone free Bovril for their troubles.
Luiz Suarez clearly wasn’t too fond of David Moyes’ comments ahead of Sunday’s Merseyside derby.
Moyes said Suarez has a history of diving, and that it deters supporters from the game.
