Josep Guardiola, Bayern Munich agree to deal

The move that everyone didn’t anticipate broke on Wednesday: Josep Guardiola is heading to Bayern Munich.

Yes, you read it right.

Guardiola, who led Barcelona to 14 titles over four seasons and turned the Spanish club into arguably the best team in the world, has agreed to become the coach of Bayern Munich starting next season.

A host of clubs had been linked with the Spaniard since he left Barca, including Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea in England, Italian giants AC Milan and big-spending Paris St Germain.

Needless to say, Cristiano Ronaldo had a rough night at FIFA’s Ballon d’or gala on Monday night.

Not only did CR7 miss out on the prized FIFA award, but it looks like the Portuguese foward received a second snub of sorts after ex-Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola refused to shake his hand.

Poor, poor Ronaldo.

Former Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola is linked with a move to the San Siro after AC Milan’s poor showing in the Milan derby.
What do you think? Is a new manager the answer for AC Milan’s fortunes?
