Tottenham to move for Moutinho?

After Sunday’s disappointment - with Tottenham missing out on the last Champions League spot - boss Andre Villas-Boas has been told he will given major backing in the summer transfer window.

Villas-Boas, frustrated on previous occasions to sign Joao Moutinho, will make the Porto star his main target with a host of other names on the manager’s wishlist.

Moutinho’s strike hands Porto narrow win over Malaga

A second-half goal from Joao Moutinho gave Porto a narrow 1-0 win over Malaga ahead of the return leg in Spain.

Porto controlled the match in the first half, but Malaga’s defense proved tough until Alex Sandro’s pinpoint pass found Moutinho in the box and the Portuguese slotted home. Replays however showed that the goal appeared tto be scored in offside position.

Porto is now in the driver’s seat, while Malaga lost for the first time in their debut Champions League season.
