Cristiano Ronaldo fights dandruff in bizarre shampoo commercial

image

Ever wonder how Cristiano Ronaldo always keeps his hair so perfect?

Well, aside from getting his hair trimmed and perfectly styled seemingly every other day, it seems CR7 is also a tenacious protector of his own follicles. In this advertisement for CLEAR shampoo, Ronaldo fights off dandruff attacks with the flair and elusiveness of Neo in The Matrix:

How great was that? Ronaldo sure showed those dandruff balls who’s boss.

And wait, there’s more!

CLEAR also released a behind-the-scenes video of the making of the commercial, which is almost as exciting. At the end of the video, Ronaldo says: “I love the shampoo, it is nice. And if you see the results, you can look for my hair and you will see why I have a beautiful hair.”

So there. Now you know.

Is that Fellaini? Belgian midfielder changes his hairdo

image

Marouane Fellaini made a promise at the beginning of the World Cup.

If Belgium won it all, he would shave his head.

That’s saying something, coming from the Manchester United midfielder recognizable by his floppy Afro.

Sadly, Belgium didn’t make it that far, they fell to Argentina in the quarterfinals. But Fellaini must have liked the idea of changing his look so he went with a new style anyways — braids!

Look at how excited he is about his new ‘do:

If he’s going to do away with the Afro, though, he may want to consider changing the design of his Twitter page.

Luka Modric cuts his flowing locks after winning Champions League

Aside from starring in Real Madrid’s midfield, Luka Modric is perhaps best known for his bouncing, flowing locks. He’s been rocking the “long hair, don’t care” look for as long as we can remember, and it suits him quite well:

But no one realized just how much his hair ‘made’ his look until he went and chopped it all off!

No. Just, no Luka. This was a mistake. Take it back. Take it back!

Yes, that is a grown adult next to Arbeloa. (Image: Modric’s Facebook)

What in the world led Modric to undergo this appalling transformation?

Apparently, the Croatia star had promised Real teammate Arvalo Arbeloa that he would get a new hairstyle if they won the Champions League. He didn’t wait long to make good on that promise, chopping his hair off the day after Real won the coveted trophy.

You would think that the man who also cuts Cristiano Ronaldo’s hair could’ve given Modric a better look! Let’s just hope his hair grows quickly.

If Liverpool don’t win the league, this guy is probably to blame

image

Eleven years ago, diehard Liverpool fan Uke Krasniqi vowed to not cut his hair until the Reds won the league title.

He saw his beloved club win the FA, the League Cup and even the coveted Champions League — but that’s not what he wants. He wants the Premier League trophy.

With Liverpool so close to claiming their first title since the 1989-90 season — before the Premier League era — Krasniqi has decided to set up an appointment to cut his hair.

This seems like a bit of a risky move, Uke. Liverpool still have to play Chelsea, and a win for the Blues would put them just two points behind the Reds. Liverpool may be the favorites, but this is far from over.

So if the Reds can’t manage to capture their first league title in more than two decades, the Liverpool faithful will know who to blame for jinxing the club.

Chelsea’s Willian suggests he’s cutting off his afro. We have hairstyle suggestions

Willian has had a strong debut in the Premier League for league leaders Chelsea, but every player knows there are edges to be gained.

Perhaps after studying aerodynamics, Chelsea’s speedster realized an afro isn’t the most streamlined look. On Friday, he posted the photo below on Instagram, suggesting that his afro would be no-more:

That got the FOX Soccer Blog crew thinking: What kind of looks could Willian opt for? With some help from our crack photo team (and some inspiration from Andy Warhol), we came up with a few possibilities:

Yikes. Here’s to hoping his barber knows what he’s doing.
