If Liverpool don’t win the league, this guy is probably to blame

Eleven years ago, diehard Liverpool fan Uke Krasniqi vowed to not cut his hair until the Reds won the league title.

He saw his beloved club win the FA, the League Cup and even the coveted Champions League — but that’s not what he wants. He wants the Premier League trophy.

With Liverpool so close to claiming their first title since the 1989-90 season — before the Premier League era — Krasniqi has decided to set up an appointment to cut his hair.

This seems like a bit of a risky move, Uke. Liverpool still have to play Chelsea, and a win for the Blues would put them just two points behind the Reds. Liverpool may be the favorites, but this is far from over.

So if the Reds can’t manage to capture their first league title in more than two decades, the Liverpool faithful will know who to blame for jinxing the club.

Daniel Sturridge treats Liverpool kids to best day at school ever

Most days, the clock ticks far too slowly for kids in school. They can’t wait for the bell to ring, signaling freedom (at least until the next day). But for one class at Anfield Junior School, the second hand could have frozen and they wouldn’t have minded one bit.

Liverpool striker and funny guy Daniel Sturridge surprised a group of young kids, and the adorableness is overwhelming.

So kids, keep in mind that next time you go to school, Daniel Sturridge might show up and teach you how to dance (but probably not).

Liverpool look to Blues defender

Chelsea have a wealth of defenders at Stamford Bridge and Jose Mourinho may look to offload a few in the transfer window. Mourinho has frozen Ashley Cole out of the starting 11, preferring Cesar Azpilicueta on the left-hand side of defense.

Today’s newspapers report that the Blues’ third-choice Ryan Bertrand could be on his way out the door. The likely destination is Merseyside, where both Liverpool and Everton are admirers of the 24-year-old.

Liverpool head queue for Porto winger

Liverpool invested heavily in the summer on new players, bringing in the likes of Mamadou Sakho from Paris Saint-Germain and Iago Aspas from Celta Vigo. Most managers in the world soccer would probably tell you their squad can always be strengthened, and it seems Brendan Rodgers is keen to bring in more reinforcements.

The latest name being linked to Anfield is Porto winger Juan Iturbe, who is currently enjoying a successful loan spell with Serie A side Hellas Verona.

Liverpool supporters start petition for Warrior Sports to change new kits

Ever since images of Liverpool’s 2013/14 third and away kits were leaked, fans have been up in arms. LFC Supporters’ worst nightmares were realized when the club confirmed their new kits, prompting the Anfield faithful to take action.

After the kits were initially unveiled, one supporter went so far as to create an official petition on change.org for Warrior Sports to scrap the design and start over.

From the petition:

"We understand that you are trying to be ‘hip’ to break into the market, Warrior. We understand that you enjoy ‘aggressive advertising’ and looks. Unfortunately you have done it with the wrong club. Liverpool FC is a club with history and worldwide support. Please make an effort. These are an absolute embarrassment to the club, to its history, to its supporters, and to the crest."

While production has likely already started for these kits and it may be too late to make a change, feel free to sign the petition and let your voice be heard.

Luis Suarez’s will to win has been almost the single reason for many of the points Liverpool have won this season. It’s one of the reasons he is adored at Anfield.

It seems not even the club’s women’s team are worthy of a break from the Uruguayan, who can be seen here getting stuck in during a friendly kickabout with Liverpool Ladies.
