Roma and USMNT midfielder Michael Bradley starred in a new Volkswagen commercial in Italy together with club legend Francesco Totti!
In the ad, Bradley tries to correct Totti on some English pronunciation. It’s quite funny at the end, and Bradley’s quite good, too!
Francesco Totti scored the game-winner in style for Roma against Juventus on Saturday.
This rocket of a shot was clocked at a ridiculous speed of 113km/h (70 mph). It seems that the 36-year-old Roma captain isn’t losing an of his edge with age. What an unbelievable goal!
Following December’s tragic events at Newtown, Conn., various organizations have stepped up to help members of Sandy Hook Elementary School. Quinnipiac University have taken drastic steps to address this in their own special way.
Dave Clarke, head women’s soccer coach for Quinnipiac University, has spearheaded a #26 shirt auction to raise funds for a scholarship for those affected in the local community. The response has been tremendous, as over 100 clubs and national teams have promised to donate #26 shirts to this admirable cause.
Teams such as Bayern Munich, AS Roma and England have joined the effort, while more are expected following this week’s round of international friendlies, World Cup qualifiers or African Cup of Nations matches. Tentative plans are to host the auction in March or April.
