Rangers’ winning run came to an end when a late blunder from goalkeeper Neil Alexander handed 10-man Elgin City a 1-1 draw at Ibrox in the Irn-Bru Third Division.

Rangers boss Ally McCoist said after the match, “Goalkeepers make mistakes and everybody sees them and invariably they cost a goal. Other boys make mistakes and can get away with them. Neil is a big enough boy to handle it.”

Ouch!
