Substitute Mauricio Gomez Arias pulled off one of the saves of the season - despite not playing in the game.

The incident happened in Argentina as Gomez Arias’ San Martin de Marco Juarez hosted Bell de Bell Ville in a league semifinal. An opposition forward broke beyond the defense, beating the on-rushing goalkeeper, before Gomez Arias broke off from his warm up to occupy the goal and divert the ball to safety.

The referee had no choice by to award an indirect free-kick to the attacking team, who failed to score fro the set-piece. Justice was done, however, as Bell eventually won 1-0.
