US Soccer has named Tom Sermanni as the new head coach of the women’s national team. He will officially begin his tenure on January 1, 2013.
Sermanni replaces Pia Sundhage, who stepped down in September after an incredibly successful five year tenure. It’s safe to say he has very big shoes to fill. Is this the right move? Time will tell.
